TravelBuddy (“we”) runs the website at https://travelbuddy.logicaisol.com and the Android app with package name app.travelbuddy.guide. This policy describes what the product collects and why.
Account
Sign-in uses Google. We receive your name, email address, and profile photo, and we store them with your token balance, travel preferences, and session. The Android app and the website share that account.
Photos
When you take or pick a photo, the image is sent to our server so we can identify the place and write a guide. We may store that photo with the guide on your account. Camera and photo-library access are used only for that capture.
Location
With your permission, the app reads precise location to find nearby places and to give walking or transit directions. Coordinates are sent to our server with the guide request and may be stored with that guide.
Purchases
Token packs on the website are paid through Stripe. Token packs in the Android app are paid through Google Play. We store the pack, the token amount, and a record of the purchase. For Play purchases we receive a product id and purchase token so we can confirm the payment with Google and add tokens to your balance.
How the data is used
- Name the place in a photo and write the guide.
- Show nearby stops, food, and directions.
- Build an itinerary from the preferences you save.
- Keep your token balance and purchase history.
- Let admins you designate review accounts, packs, and usage.
Photo and trip text are sent to Google Gemini to produce the guide. Place search, maps, and directions use Google Maps. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Account, guide, itinerary, and purchase records stay until you delete the account from the delete account page. That removes your name, email, profile photo, preferences, token balance, guides, photos, and itineraries. Stripe and Google Play keep their own payment records.
Children
TravelBuddy is not directed at children under 13.
